That chance at something wholesome… 

I fell in love with the wrong one. One who could not hold me up, so I was held down. One who could not be an anchor, could not be a safe space, could not be a psalm… And so that book was never written. I walked away from that storm, hands clean. 

Grief holds a potent Poet’s tongue, but so does a clean, rushing river…

What else can one do but turn the page and sing.
