From 2000 to 2025 it's been once (2003). that's an extremely precipitous decline from having more #1 players than the rest of the world combined over 25+ years, to basically never for 25.

@aryehazan I think it's consistent. He thinks individuals have rights, not nations. So while individuals have a right to keep people off their property, a nation has no right to keep people out, and if they have a job offer, keeping them out is interfering with their freedom to contract.

@itsolelehmann Natural selection will fix it. Some people naturally desire more kids, partly for genetic reasons. Those genetic variants will become more common in the future, until above-replacement fertility is restored. (Assuming this is allowed to happen, which I doubt.)

@robinhanson I care more that the good guys can and do credibly threaten to thrash people, and sometimes have to follow through, or put down a mad dog, than about the number of wars. But my preferred policy would result in fewer wars than most others.

@jessesingal Yudkowsky used to talk about friendly AI (FAI), vs unfriendly AI. Analogous to friendly vs. unfriendly aliens. But I guess some people didn't like it and a new term took over. I agree it's not my favorite, but it's the standard now, so I use it.

Despite read-only web access, the agents were able to leave ~18,000 posts sharing answers and bypasses. But now, users are discovering more.

This appears to be a separate swarm from the one that attacked Hugging Face.
