Pep Guardiola on why his team are returning to good form this season:

“ENERGY! ENERGY! ENERGY! We lost it last season, me first, and everyone. Start to train better, to compete better. Three at the back, four at the back, wingers, full-backs, that is BULLSH*T!”

Interesting that he reflects his own energy was not good enough last year, then links training well to playing well. He places tactical input as a lower value to all of that.
