Ecco 2 scolds you for cheating in more than one way by also making a noise when accepting a password that has them enabled.
The wop of shame, as we like to call it!
Our message board has suffered an influx of dumb AI scraper bots that assume session ID as unique URIs and fall into an infinite loop.
Countermeasures are now in place that SHOULD not interfere with our legitimate users.
EdgeCase, long time member of our community, has a treat especial for us: a full series Ecco 1 walkthrough.
Even if you know it all, I'm certain you will not regret watching it. See our forum for links and maybe share some feedback while at it! Enjoy!

Ecco does not approve the new paint job on the Time Machine...
Palette bugs are one of my favourites. Here, instead of flashing everything BUT those dishes like on the 2nd screenshot, the game did the exact inverse of that.
All the pages are printed on fairly thick paper and laminated to withstand quite a bit of abuse and still look great and vibrant after all these years!
Sega Pico was a wonderful concept for 1993 and must have been absolutely magical for children at the time.
Ecco making an appearance on this platform was yet another testament to just how big the franchise was.

@DanmakumanG Makes absolute sense given it was Yamaha who made FM popular! There were a few exceptions among Western musicians but generally people would stick with factory patches...
Attila Hรฉger is treating us with the good stuff once again!
Three new remastered tracks have been added to the playlist: Island Zone, Time Travel and The Vents. The latter is an delicate harmony of original FM and modern instruments!

Stars on Ecco's model in DoTF are also meshes. This helps make them sharper without a higher res texture.
Same model is reused for all other bottlenose in the game, only texture is made transparent.
Doesn't work too well in beta, see if you can spot the impostor!
@P_Pi13 You are welcome!
Ecco is a gift that just keeps on giving where there's a good chance you'd still find a secret all these years later... That's just one of the things that makes it so special!
Ecco is all about bootstrap paradoxes.
In Origin Beach there's a hidden glyph that suggests it was our hero who's nudged cetacean evolution forward.
There was supposed to be a full cutscene where you meet Pakicetus but not enough time, so a secret glyph had to do.
Music player on Ecco website got an update: remastered tracks now show artist name.
Now we can have even more appreciation for the amount of work Attila Hรฉger has done!

The Hungry Ones was another unique level in Ecco 2. Not only do you get to swim through it as a shark, but you also lose air quickly if you stop!
There's also hidden bubbles placed strategically throughout the map that drain your air even faster. Very sneaky!
@kadosho It's interesting how all these years later "Easy Listening" is how I would describe most of that compilation! It really was a good one for the time.
Europe at some point saw this limited edition boxed set that included a collective adoption certificate over a dolphin named Ecco living around Moray Firth bay.
Also in the set was this cassette with a very nice musical compilation. Give those bands a shot sometime!
