Moderate to locally heavy lake effect snow will continue through Tuesday across the western Southern Tier with significant additional accumulations. Bands of light to moderate snow will also continue southeast of Lake Ontario.

Latest from the @NWSBUFFALO: southern Erie County can expect another 8-12 inches of snow by 7 PM Monday. Parts of Chautauqua County could get another 24-30 inches of snow through Tuesday. Yikes!

Snow response update from our Erie County Department of Public Works. Mostly clean up work after a busy 36-48 hours for our crews.

3 - 4 feet of lake effect snow has already been observed. 1 - 2 feet of additional snowfall is expected east of Lake Ontario, while nearly 3 feet of additional snowfall is expected east of Lake Erie (Chautauqua).
