Spent some time reflecting on an amazing time in NOLA for this year’s NAEYC’s Professional Learning Institute. I presented on the importance of Family Engagement and I met Henry Cole, illustrator of And Tango Makes Three (a favorite of mine).

PLI is an amazing chance to connect with others who share passion. NAEYC announced this was the last PLI in this format. It is bittersweet to say goodbye to a conference that has made such an impact on me and my professional growth as both a formal and informal leader in ECE.
