SDPD shot a suspect wanted for tampering with a vehicle (VC 10852) who fled on foot in the 3400 Block of Lebon Dr in the UTC area around 3:15 am this morning. Suspect was reportedly armed with a gun and was transported to the hospital in unknown condition. No officers injured.

#BunnieFire in Ramona [update] The fire is 184 acres and 20% contained.

An update on the #BunnieFire. As of 8:20 p.m., ALL evacuation orders and warnings in Ramona are now lifted. If you had to leave, it is now safe to go back home. Drive slowly and carefully. Be mindful of firefighters, deputies, road and utility crews working in the area. If you see any flare ups, report it immediately and call 9-1-1. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

.@CALFIRESANDIEGO [Final] Crews have contained the fire to just under 1 acre. Air assets had to disengage for a short time due to a drone reported in the fire area. Please refrain from flying any drones near a fire area. Not only is it extremely dangerous, it is also illegal.
