I am halfway through my second week back at work. I am sitting alone in an office working exactly like I did from home, but in a less pleasant atmosphere, unnecessary interruptions, more stress, unhealthy snacks. Why did they need me in the building? (Lonely extroverts) #telework

@WalshFreedom I'm in "White America" and I acknowledge this obvious truth. It's been this way since the beginning of this country. Trace a straight trend line from slavery to lynching to Jim Crow to police brutality to higher black incarceration. I don't know why anyone would be in denial.

I never thought, "I'd better leave my hands up; he might shoot me." I was never asked to step out or yelled at. Guess my skin color...

@cal4neb2 @johnpavlovitz @WalshFreedom Get real. It's difficult to comply when you're scared out of your mind for your life, or have autism or other condition. Police sometimes (often?) jump to the most negative assumption about black individuals they pull over and the officers go brutal and escalate the encounter.

@RadioFreeTom A little too pessimistic. The US military still has a majority with exceptional strategic thinking skills. I am thankful they had integrity against pressures of the Trump years. What we need is for civilian leaders to attend a senior service college to learn strategic thinking.

@g_odums I just left a 22-year domestic partnership that got more miserable as time went on. It was intolerable towards the end. The pandemic allowed me to think clearly about everything. Staying single the rest of my life is looking awesome in comparison. I feel released from a prison.
