Zimbabwean human rights lawyer Brian Kagoro says it is tragic that education, a vital aspect of personal and societal development, has now been trivialised by youths who are corrupt and no longer believe it is necessary to be educated to be empowered and live a good life.
Corruption, patronage and cronyism are seen as the fastest routes to good life by some.
This has created wrong role models in society and legitimised corruption and looting.
