🚨 This should alarm every single Canadian.

In committee, Apple and Google just warned MPs exactly what Bill C-22 does.

They said the bill doesn’t just ask them to unlock encryption when needed. It lets the government issue **secret ministerial orders** forcing them to build a “hole in the wall” — a backdoor — that didn’t exist before.

Apple: “We’re concerned about a hole being put in the wall.”
Liberals: “There’s no hole in the wall.”
Apple: “But the bill lets you secretly order one.”
Google: “We’ve never built anything like this, anywhere in the world.”

And the response? Basically “pinky promise we won’t abuse it.”

This isn’t some conspiracy theory. This is tech companies that fight governments for a living telling Parliament that C-22 would force them to do something unprecedented globally — create secret backdoors and comply with sweeping, unchecked ministerial orders on metadata, encryption, and more.

After C-11 gave them control over what you can see and say online, C-22 is coming for what you can keep private.

Law-abiding Canadians. Your texts. Your calls. Your data. Your location. Your searches.

All of it potentially accessible through secret orders with minimal real oversight.

Privacy isn’t optional. Encryption protects everyone — including the people who have nothing to hide.

If this passes in its current form, Canada becomes a place where the government can quietly demand tech companies build tools to spy on its own citizens… and the companies are saying they’ve never been forced to do this anywhere else on Earth.

The 35-page internal Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) document outlines a system for tracking online narratives, assessing individual posts, and escalating responses. It also contemplates legal action against Canadians over social media commentary.

I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.

And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:

You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.

This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.

Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.

This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.

But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.

This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.

And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:

Thank God for the United States.

Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.

🚨Moderna's new mRNA flu vaccine reduced absolute influenza risk by 0.8% in trials. In the same trials, 6.4% of recipients suffered severe reactions, five times the rate of the standard flu shot, and five mFlusiva recipients died in the Phase 3 trial compared to one in the standard flu shot group. Cardiac events, including fatal cardiac arrest, were also recorded.

@ICANdecide sent an urgent letter to FDA's advisory committee documenting every one of these concerns before the vote. The committee acknowledged them, then voted unanimously to recommend approval anyway, with a note that further studies should be conducted after the vaccine is already in use.

America's most vulnerable seniors, the population for whom mFlusiva showed no statistically significant efficacy at all, will once again serve as the test group while regulators wait years to determine whether the product is causing harm.

ICAN will be filing FOIA requests for the full clinical trial data if mFlusiva receives final approval from FDA Acting Commissioner Kyle Diamantas.

I have attended CPR classes over the years, but was never told this particular scenario. I was told that when your body starts sweating profusely for no apparent reason followed by what feels like a spasm at the end of your esophagus, that is your body’s warning sign.

When you are alone and have a heart attack, what are you gonna do? A really good post that can't be shared often enough:

1. Take a 2 minute break and read this:
Let's say it's 5:25 pm and you're driving home after an unusually hard day's work.

2. You are really tired and frustrated.
All of a sudden you experience chest pains. They are starting to radiate in the arm and jaw. It feels like being stabbed in the chest and heart. You're only a few miles away from the nearest hospital or home.

3. Unfortunately you don't know if you can make it..

4. Maybe you've taken CPR training, but the person running the course hasn't told you how to help yourself.

5. How do you survive a heart attack when you're alone when it happens? A person who is feeling weak and whose heart is beating hard has only about 10 seconds before losing consciousness.

6. But you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and very strongly! Deep breaths before every cough. Coughing should be repeated every second until you arrive at the hospital or until your heart starts to beat normally.

7. Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs and coughing movements boost the heart and blood circulation. Heart pressure also helps to restore a normal heartbeat. That’s how cardiac arrest victims can make it to the hospital for the right treatment.

8. Cardiologists say if someone gets this message and passes it on to 10 people, we can expect to save at least one life.

9. FOR WOMEN: You should know that women have additional and different symptoms. Rarely have crushing chest pain or pain in the arms. Often have indigestion and tightness across the back at the bra line plus sudden fatigue.

Millions of Canadians are beginning to see the similarities between communist regimes and the direction of current government policy.

All seven are live in the 45th Parliament right now. None has received royal assent yet.

Consider that good, law-abiding Canadians are being gradually and systematically disarmed.

This is not a warning about some distant future.

In 2022 the federal government invoked emergency powers it did not have, froze the bank accounts of citizens over their political views, and banned Canadians from funding a protest. Two levels of court have since ruled it unconstitutional - a violation of the very Charter rights every one of these bills now circles.

That was the trial run. It needed an emergency as the excuse.

The seven bills above are the permanent version - the same reach, made routine - so that next time, no emergency need be declared at all.

A free country is not lost in a single day. It is legislated away in pieces, each one introduced with a reassuring name and defended as necessary, while good people keep assuring themselves it could never happen here.

It already did. The only question is whether enough Canadians notice before it becomes permanent.

Read every bill. Watch every one of them. Because this is the stage where it can still be stopped... and perhaps our last chance.

I work in IT security at a huge law firm. This one bill would ruin our confidential emails, security, teams meetings. All communcations with clients. But of course Liberals are trying to ram it into LAW the way it is. At this point if this does pass. I will be leaving Canada forever sorry, But I cannot protect the privacy of any business if the government controls all the keys.
I will move to the USA then Plenty of jobs there in IT and also a Consitution that protects against this very same thing.
