If you take a plastic bottle, put a few rocks in it, fill it with water, and then place it in the back of your toilet, to save up to 10 gallons of water per day. By placing the bottle in the toilet tank, less water is needed to fill the tank.

Couldn't agree more, those using survival % or displaced residents as the main argument against intensifying storms are extremely flawed.

Hurricanes *are* getting worse. And it *is* due to #climatechange.

And even though some hide behind the "we had a more severe storm in 1920-something" (eg in terms of human lives)-argument, this is simply due to us getting better at emergency response.
