[eco-communities @eco_communities]

Challenged by @miguel_kanai to also think about processes of ‘de-futuring’ (drawing upon Escobar) - where path dependences and power relations shape + constrain future diverse urbanisms #DiverseCity #ecocommunities @USForg

[eco-communities @eco_communities]

Fascinating provocations by @InvisibleMapper to explore the highly privatised enclaves of eco-communities in Accra, Ghana, that these separately secured infrastructures are forms of eco-apartheid, an enclave urbanism #DiverseCity #ecocommunities @USForg

⁦@femimeli⁩ as our key note Speaker today. Real questions about space, urban appropriation and housing alternatives. ⁦@eco_communities⁩ ⁦@Radical_Housing⁩

[eco-communities @eco_communities]

Inspired by @femimeli call to understand co-housing through post colonial theories of resistance. In so doing to explore new solidarities, revisit radical imaginaries, and materialisms of mutual care in future eco-community projects #DiverseCity #ecocommunities @USForg

[eco-communities @eco_communities]

Elizabeth Dinnie is sketching out how community-led responses to climate change can do easily be spaces of reproduction for neoliberalism #DiverseCity @USForg #ecocommunities

[Peter Kraftl @peterkraftl]

@femimeli begins our seminar with a keynote on housing disposition, crisis, diversity, collaborative social #housing and #urban futures @eco_communities #DiverseCity @JennyPickerill @KstevensWood
