Almost 100 people attended an environmental action for the World Environment Day in Shahristan on June 10th. 5 Ha of land was cleared of various trash. The action was carried out under Democracy Support Program grants for USANT program graduates.

On April 29, we organized a “Festival of Nature Lovers”, involving “Green Patrols” from six secondary schools of Kanibadam.During the Festival, the kids displayed exhibition of hand crafts, models and drawings.
The universities of Oxford, Beijing, Imperial College have conducted studies on the impact of air pollution on human depression. The study showed that exposure to even low air pollution can cause anxiety and depression.
