In a @WSJ opinion piece, @BadrJafar argues that Iran's attacks on the #UAE are an assault on an idea: that an open, diversified economy can thrive in one of the world's most contested regions.

With 77% of GDP from non-oil sectors, $2 trillion in sovereign wealth, and a track record of absorbing every crisis since 1980 and coming back stronger, the UAE's fundamentals haven't changed.

Shocking revelation as a luxury French restaurant practices blatant discrimination against Saudis, veiled women and blacks.
