@AgoraGolf Haven’t seen anything yet but that’s that threat so I’m curious how likely you thought the NCAA would change course on this aspect of 5 for 5.
.@GatorsGolf coasts to 12-shot win over Texas on Tuesday at the Williams Cup.
Gators were 28 under at the turn today before giving up several shots late; Zack Swanwick went double bogey-bogey to close to miss out on his first college win. Notre Dame's Nate Stevens instead wins by a shot.
Still, Florida, ranked 26th in the nation entering this event, should vault up the rankings after this.
Some other notable results down the leaderboard:
• Host UNC ties Louisville for third behind Niall Shiels-Donegan's solo fifth
• Texas sophomore Daniel Bennett places second, his fourth career college runner-up
• No. 1 Utah ties Oklahoma for 7th, while Sooners star Jase Summy, who was T-1 at fall-opening Carmel Cup, posted a T-43, his second straight finish outside the top 30
• In just his second start of the season, world No. 1 amateur Jackson Koivun tied for 10th while Auburn finished 9th, 35 shots back of Florida
@GolfweekRingler@NDMensGolf It’s all good, Lance. I was just surprised the coaching community wouldn’t put him in the top 25. The body of work in the last 8 years is undeniable.
@GolfweekRingler@NDMensGolf It’s more than this fall though…Taichi Kho, Davis Chatfield, Palmer Jackson, Jake Modleski. Incredible 5 years for coaches not to include him in the top 25 best coaches. Southern school bias?
Congrats to Palmer Jackson (‘23) for finishing runner-up and advancing through Second Stage of DP World Tour Q-School!
Palmer advances to the Final Stage which takes place this weekend, November 8 - 13, in Tarragona, Spain!

@scottallancole@DickBlandTrackr@jcmmartin65 It’s golf but it’s not the same format. They play 3/4 of a tournament and play the holes out of order. Should the majors be played that way?
JN is not a star. It took him 4 holes to beat Sergio García . C’mon. Other than Rahm who in the LIV field will contend for a major. None.
