@ElliottBlackwe3 I once took an edible that was too much for me to handle, and reading this book was the only thing that stopped me from feeling like I was going to die ❤️
@RoxyTall Working in service and customers making small talk chatting about the warm weather like “hey, it’s so warm out- but I’ll take it!”, and I just want to pull my hair out and scream.
@corsent A really important thing coming out of this convo is people learning that "librarian" is a professional job that can be stressful and underpaid like any other. Too many people think working in a library is a fun little hobby 🤦♀️
@constans Agreed. I'm a Libray Manager and have also worked extensively with unhoused people as a Case Manager. I think librarians who are aspirational about being a community/ social services center while being paid $15/hr have no perspective and haven't thought things through.
@LibbyApp#EbookLove just finished Jessica Clare's What The Hex that was only available to me through my library system in ebook form! I also rely on Libby for all my audiobooks and am currently listening to The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah :)
