En partenariat avec le district de Gakenke, EcoVerde Network Africa a planté plus de 3 000 arbres associés aux cultures sur une superficie d’environ 20 ha, dans les secteurs de Busengo et Cyabingo.

EVNA has planted 3500 trees in the Cyabingo and Busengo sectors of Gakenke District, Northern Province.
This focuses on restoring degraded land and promoting climate-smart agroforestry practices that support soil conservation, improved crop productivity and community resilience.
On Oct 26, 2025, EVNA, @GakenkeDistrict and local community members joined the monthly community work (Umuganda) at the Rumaramagambo Food Basket Site (FOBASI) in Kivuruga Sector.
