Clippy has had a resurgence in the media the past few years, and folks really seem to love him. I thought maybe, just maybe, people might like to meet his cousin, Bindy, the Binder Clip.

Bindy lives in the shadow, yet awe of his cousin, Clippy. I’m still fleshing out his personality and who he is as I continue to design him over the next short while. As I do, I’ll post more images of him and his world...

I'm already working on something exciting for Bindy in a space that's very familiar to me from earlier in my career. It's still early, but I can't wait to share more when the time is right.

Also, unlike Clippy, I own Bindy outright and can forge his story as I see fit.

Remember Star Fox Zero? Brand new game, flopped, franchise dead for 10 years.
Remember Sly Cooper 4? Brand new game, underperformed, franchise buried for 13 years.

In today’s industry, executives won't risk $50M+ on a dead mascot without checking if the audience is still there. Buying Legends Retold is literally voting to tell Ubisoft: 'Yes, we want Rayman 4.' It's that simple.

Concerning Star Fox, they are doing a remake to test it. Sly Cooper just got a teasing in Astro Bot recently, and seeing the fanbase going nuts after it, they might be considering something.

Now, concerning Spyro, that I love too btw:

Activision released both Crash and Spyro remakes to test the waters. Crash exploded (20M+ copies), Spyro did okay but didn’t match those insane numbers.

Guess who got a big-budget sequel? Crash 4. Aaand who got sent to support Call of Duty franchise? Toys for Bob.
At least Spyro appeared in CTR Nitro Fueled.

I heard recently that Spyro will have a sequel. Could be anything, but they know the popularity of it. Patience is key guys.

Don’t take it personally, but after seeing it all over my timeline, I need to say: I hate these kinds of takes.

Crash Bandicoot 4 was made after the good results of Crash N Sane Trilogy and CTR Nitro-Fueled.

Rayman’s next games will be made after the good results of Legends Retold.

That’s how the industry works, that’s how it’s always worked and how it will always work. Before injecting a lot of money into a big AAA game, we need to take the temperature, mostly in recent times.

Yeah, Rayman Legends was available on new platforms. But that was a port.

Recently, Ubisoft is trying to put Rayman in the forefront again. Look at Mario + Rabbids: the crowd reacted with “We want Rayman in this!” and BAM, Phantom Menace in the sequel.

Rayman 30th Anniversary is a love letter to the OG game, and now this Legends 2.0 reimagination is coming.

We need to support Ubisoft, we need to support French talents. And I don’t say that because I’m French, but in a timeline when the video games industry is at the beginning of a new crisis (and you can’t deny it), we need to support studios that try and listen to their audience. Ubisoft is doing that now. And thank you, it was freaking time.
