Either way, it’s worth watching the full interview (👀 2nd link👇). LFP was a most interesting character. To say the least. Should the abiotic theory of the origins of oil ever become widely acknowledged and accepted, the history books of the last hundred and fifty plus years will require some serious editing.

And WT🤬 was L Fletcher Prouty I hear you ask?

In brief, Leroy Fletcher Prouty (1917 – 2001) was a retired U.S. Air Force colonel, military intelligence officer, and later a prominent critic of U.S. foreign policy and the MIC. But that only scratches the surface. (The character Mr X in Ollie Stone’s “JFK” was apparently based on him.)

After retiring, Prouty became an outspoken critic of the ‘Company’ (aka the CIA), which he accused of operating as a powerful, unaccountable force often serving a hidden power elite rather than U.S. interests.

So with views like that (to say little of his ideas regarding the origins of oil), clearly the bloke was a card carrying loony toon conspiracy theorist with too much time on his hands and who subsequently found the adjustments required in retirement a tad too challenging! 😙😉

As a coda, Prouty passed away just a few months shy of 9/11. One wonders what he would’ve had to say about the events of that day, again to say nothing of where his country is now as a result. Can’t imagine the man’s ghost getting much R.I.P. — GM
