I remember one of Cassius Clay’s first national fights against Sonny Liston. No radio or tv just wire recreation. A ticker tape would provide updates via Western Union. Later Muhammad Ali became a national figure fighting around the world. He always treasured Louisville. His principal at Central High told me he would shadow box the school bus down Walnut Street going home.
Muhammad and Lonnie were leaving city hall one day. He came walking down Sixth Street. We recognized him and rolled our windows down. E.J. Clark and I were flabbergasted the amount of time Muhammad and Lonnie spent with us. A truly great person. Rest in peace champ. @ESPN680@BigXSportsRadio@ESPNInsights
Reds are in deep trouble. No De La Cruz. No closer. No Burns tonight. They ate more like the Louisville Bats. Dunn, Arroyo, Bladay, Richardson. @Reds@LouisvilleBats@BigXSportsRadio@ESPN680
