A few years ago, while I was in secondary school as a boarding student, I had a habit.

Every time I saw my dad in church, I would ask for pocket money.
And most times, he gave me.

But one particular day, I went to him again as usual and asked.
This time, he looked at me and said just one word:

“Be patient.”

That moment stayed with me.

Because suddenly, it clicked
Not every situation needs an immediate solution.
Some situations need patience.

And today, I say the same to you:

You have prayed and prayed, and it’s looking like nothing is happening

Patience.

You have waited.
You have obeyed.
You have given but haven’t received.
You have loved but were hurt in return
Patience.

Not because nothing is happening…
But because something is being formed.

Patience is not delay.
Patience is not denial.
Patience is a process.

A process where:

- your character is built
- your faith is stretched
- your heart is aligned

Because if everything came the moment you asked,
you might receive it, but not be ready for it.

“Let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” James 1:4

So don’t rush the process.
Don’t force the outcome.
And don’t lose your posture.

Some doors don’t open because you knocked.
They open because you have become ready.

So if God is saying anything to you in this season, it might simply be:

Be patient.
