India’s LGD exports have surpassed natural diamonds in volume.

But the the value gap is staggering. LGDs account for +50% of the volume but bring in less than 9% of the total value.

The race to the bottom can only stop if we re-educate our professionals.., many, many consumers seem more educated than the industry these days in a way that they understand "diamonds are forever".., even LGD's!! Rarity factor? Less so for both in general terms.
