1/2 We started work on Island Adventure / Hopper, inspired by the islands of the Maldives, earlier this year to learn @threejs and shaders, with help from Claude.

@dhiyamigilii @threejs That’s a long trip, niice! You can toggle “Everything” in Settings → Boats and Gear to try the faster boats for longer trips. Cities are still a bit buggy. For now, I prefer exploring the smaller islands :)

In apartheid South Africa, Black people were restricted from being in “white” communities after 9pm.

Today, the Maldivian president announced that migrant workers on the street after 12am would be subject to arbitrary questioning and search. Restricting the fundamental right to freedom of movement based on nationality is unequivocally racist, and breaks numerous conventions of the ICCPR.

Migrant workers are already among the most vulnerable populations in the Maldives, and this only serves to further exacerbate persecution of this marginalized community.
