@travispillow don't be knocking my ping pong ball analogy! JK, thanks for going to the mat every time an issue comes up. We couldn't have asked for a better advocate for #TXschoolchoice movement. https://t.co/G6vgH1F7nL
If you have been onthe fence about seeking accreditation in TX, now is the time! From Pre-Launch to fully accredited in April 2027. #dzined2learn https://t.co/7sG2OMrEUu
TX Parents! As you wait, keep checking the education freedom website for schools that meet your family’s needs. I happen to know a whole cohort of fantastic Dzined2Learn schools just received accreditation!
I guess because my focus is struggling readers primarily, this all makes total sense! Also, if teacher training included science of learning, this would be more common knowledge. #readingwars#dzined2learn https://t.co/ZN9tzRDzWe
Considered the Pulitzer of Education, the YASS Prize puts you among the most unique and groundbreaking educators on the planet. From a previous semi-finalist….you should apply! https://t.co/NPUVaVVFZ2
Last night I lay in bed and thought of my older sister, who became a homeschool advocated back in WV long before it was "cool"....in fact, it was nearly illegal over 30 years ago. Thanks Sis! School Choice is HERE! https://t.co/k5DObCtphi
Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for the TEFA school voucher program! Remember, even if you aren't funded in the lottery this year it's important you still sign up so the state knows what kind of funding is needed to fill the demand: https://t.co/v01bOOUGXt
First cohort of Dzined2Learn microschool accreditations is a wrap! On to Cohort 2! Much appreciation to every school owner that entrusts us with this process.
Texas microschool and private school founders: tomorrow is the big day, but don’t panic! There are two good accrediting options that can get you on track to accept TEFA, and maybe some other ideas I can share. Send me your availability and we can chat: [email protected]
Happy National School Choice Week! That's so weird for me to say as someone who held on to and valued the public school model for a lot longer than made sense. Here is a neat resource to learn about School Choice in your state: https://t.co/eNzgZSS9pS. #microschools
The form says "a child in foster care" when the rule actually says a child is eligible if THEY HAVE EVER BEEN in foster care. That means they will have a CPOS number with DFPS. I think this only applies to PreK but I'm going to apply for my four babies (age 3-10) and let you know
The TEFA team has released some guidelines for Texas families that will have the chance to apply for the voucher program on February 4th. There ARE some things here that need explanation. Check out this list and see my observation in the comments: https://t.co/PpgVf1lA8Y
