Sheffield United Football Club is shocked and extremely saddened to learn of the passing of former player, George Baldock.
The defender left the club in the summer after seven years at Bramall Lane and was extremely popular with supporters, staff and team-mates who pulled on a red and white shirt alongside him.
The sincere condolences of everyone associated with Sheffield United are extended to George’s family and friends.
@Berkshireblade@FootballCliches I got MotM in a 0-0 draw once when the opposition striker scored a rebound off the post from a penalty and the ref eventually chalked it off after I complained and "calmly" explained the laws he'd forgotten.
The next tackle on me definitely had a bit more weight behind it!!!
12 minutes in the second half is as ridiculous as only 3 in the first. If Mr Bankes hadn't wanted to be star of the show he might have been sensible and played about 7 in each. Might not have changed the result but would at least have given the officials a slice of credibility.
@unitedite@Berkshireblade Leaving subs so late ruins anyones chances, a mistake CW often made however he showed loyalty can work out too.
But when making our last sub opportunity with 3mins left and a goal down why not swap both stifled WBs for RK and RB just for a chance + BS too? Still didn't deserve it
@Berkshireblade Absolute madness. If we'd won the Euros he could have left on a high without getting found out by the vast majority of people and never had to work again
