Chief Justice Olukayode Ariwoola has turned the Nigerian Judiciary to his family business:
He sworn in his nephew as the Justice of the Court of Appeal.
He sworn in his son as a Judge of Federal High Court.
He has just made his younger brother the Chief Auditor of the National Judicial Council.
This is nepotism of the highest order!
Our medical staff have confirmed that the Hatters captain suffered cardiac arrest on the pitch, but was responsive by the time he was taken off on the stretcher.
He received further treatment inside the stadium, for which we once again thank the medical teams from both sides.
Tom was transferred to hospital, where we can reassure supporters that he is stable and currently undergoing further tests with his family at his bedside.
We would like to thank everyone for their support, concern and loving messages for Locks. 🧡
I received with sadness and shock the report of the death of an exceptional patriot, an elder statesman, and the First Civilian Governor of New Anambra State, Chief Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Okwadike Igboukwu, last night.
“I went home and I called my doctors and I was assured that I have malaria, mingled with stress, which could also be described in another way as exhaustion. In fact, anybody could be exhausted. Please, drink water daily so that you don’t get exhausted,” Godswill Akpabio told journalists in his Abuja office.

BREAKING: The National Coordinator, South-South Leadership Forum, Sara-Igbe, on Saturday said Governor Sim Fubara offered to resign his position before the crisis in the state escalated to the level it currently is.
He said it took the intervention of some PDP leaders to prevail on him to shelve the idea.
Sara-Igbe, a former spokesperson for the Pan-Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), said the governor opted to resign because apart from the way forces above him prevented him from asserting his independence, he didn’t have enough control over the state’s funds and had difficulty running his government.
He stated, “What is the problem? Wike has come to tell the world that he was fighting Sim because Sim wanted to take his structure. What is the structure six months after elections; we are not close to elections, so what has structure got to do?
“Let me tell you about the structure; before Wike left government, the state was making over N10bn internally generated revenue (monthly). When he left, the IGR came down to N6bn. And the governor, a former Accountant General of the state, asked questions and in the process he engaged somebody to look at the books, and the commissioner of finance reported to Wike and the former governor got angry. That is the structure”
Wike is high on something. 5 million naira for CofO!
He has been living off government for 24 years and thinks that is how all of us are plucking money on trees
If your husband loves football, learn to love it too. If his interest is basketball, become an enthusiast and shoot hoops. If he leads an active gym lifestyle, don your leotards and join him. It may not completely stop your husband from cheating. But it will GREATLY minimise the likelihood of it happening.
