Cummings, the voice of "Winnie the Pooh," brings smiles to sick children in hospitals as he converses with them using Pooh's endearing voice. In one heartfelt instance, he made a call to a young girl battling cancer, and her mother shared that it was the first time her daughter had smiled in half a year.

Jim Cummings, renowned as the voice of Winnie the Pooh, extends his kindness to a heartwarming cause, reaching out to children in hospitals and engaging with them in character.

As per HowStuffWorks, Cummings doesn't limit his iconic Pooh and Tigger voices to the big and small screens; he also lends them to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, reaching out to children who are unwell.

Speaking about one particular child he contacted, Cummings recounted a poignant moment with a young girl in the battle against cancer. "Pooh called her, and she started to giggle. Her mother was in tears, just crying. She said that was the first time her daughter had smiled in six months."

But it's not just children facing health challenges who benefit from Cummings' generosity.

Cummings shared a touching story about another child he spoke with, a young boy with autism. "He asked me to do all the voices, even small parts that I had done - extraneous characters. Then his mother, crying, got on the phone and said, 'He doesn't speak.' I said, 'He's been speaking for over an hour.' And she said, 'No, my son doesn't speak - he's never spoken this much before.' I videotaped this for his doctor."
