Most of us immigrants are very smart.
We just need to focus less on accent - and be more comfortable talking without any form of anxiety.
Its doesn't have to be White to be Right.
Quick one:
1. When you are told to take medication three times a day (some tell you morning, afternoon, evening), it actually means you should take it every 8 hours.
Example: 6 am, 2 pm, and 10 pm.
2. When you're to take it two times a day, it means every 12 hours.
Say: 6 am and 6 pm or 7 am and 7 pm, or 8 am and 8 pm.
3. If it's for four times a day, it means every 6 hours.
Example: 6 am, 12 pm, 6 pm, and 12 am.
4. When it's to be taken once daily, it's advisable to pick a specific time, like either 8 am or 7 pm, depending on your schedule.
5. This helps maintain the drug concentration in the body and also helps with adherence.
6. However, there are a few exceptions to these rules, there are times that some adjustments are made which is why you should always consult your pharmacist.
7. Ensure you understand every piece of information given to you before leaving the hospital/pharmacy.

🇬🇭Ghanaian researcher & musician Nana Kofi Kusi (@Kookusi_Jnr) has received a 2-year pre-doctoral fellowship award from American Heart Association (@AHA_Research)🇺🇸 for his work on nicotine addiction.
This is actually Kofi’s 3rd year in the PhD in Biomedical Science programme at @unthsc in Texas.
Cheers to many more years of funded grants. 🥂
