Was going to create this animation with Figma Motion but smart animate worked just fine.

I'll find an opportunity to make cool stuff with Figma Motion soon 🙏

We updated the @tenki logo recently!
But it's likely very few have seen the new animation, since it only shows up for about 2 seconds at the end of our demo videos.

The tricky part was finding a way to transition the cube into the logo glyph.

And after a bit of brainstorming, I stumbled upon the solution of getting the cube to shrink and exit toward the bottom portion of the logo instead of just fading out in place. Small detail, but it feels way more alive at full speed.

I'm proud of this decision.

I tried Fable 5 yesterday and it's pretty impressive.
It's 2x the cost of Opus, but you don't need it for everything.

Complex logic, architecture changes, multi-file refactors? Fable.

CSS tweaks, content updates, straightforward edits? Opus handles it fine. No need for overkill.

How's Fable 5 working out for you guys?
