@maddiewhittle why you didn’t like you can just say it wasn’t your cup of tea. I liked it because I didn’t go in expecting some profound Oscar worthy masterpiece, I expected a basic but interesting plot (which it is, just classic be careful what you wish for) executed well, which it did. (2/2)
@maddiewhittle Kinda just sounds like you came into the movie expecting something the movie wasn’t trying to be, you got mad at that fact, and are now trying to blame it on bad writing and the director being young and naïve. Fact of the matter you don’t need to have some explanation for (1/2)
@armbrechtrandy@redelecbeanz@KevCoTweets He says during his monologue something along the lines of his presence reminding humanity how small they really are, hence his envy. While he may not see him as a “god” per se he definitely sees him as above them. But Clark doesn’t see it that way
@redelecbeanz@armbrechtrandy@KevCoTweets They stop him in the comics don’t they? The thing with Lex is that his ego is so high he can’t possibly fathom how a godlike being could want to live as a simple man. Yall seem to only have a problem with that when it comes to this movie. Your bias is unbelievably obvious
@bori___cha Idk if you’re trolling or not, but I interpreted it as only one can wear THIS ring cause you know they’ve shown every Green Lantern’s ring has a different design in the DCU and in the comics every ring is assigned to ONE user???
@ArielWi27476771@bonevoid True, but oxidative stress from free radicals isn’t the only thing that causes death by old age it contributes to it along with telomeres shortening with cell replication and UV radiation from the sun causing damage to DNA
@rand0m_arts@CrowReaping@myimsorry @utahimeful ? What do you think the ellipses mean? I can’t tell if you’re trolling on purpose or if you’re so vehemently against IzuOcha that you’re subconsciously just ignoring any subtext and callbacks (eg. You’re body moving on its own) and inserting things that make no sense (1/2)
@rand0m_arts@CrowReaping@myimsorry @utahimeful I’m not saying Toga isn’t in love with Uraraka, that’s obvious. I’m saying it’s not reciprocated. She also says in the same chapter she wants to touch the sadness deep in her. The parallels to Shigaraki and Deku couldn’t be more obvious: she wants to save her.
@rand0m_arts@CrowReaping@myimsorry @utahimeful Uraraka explicitly says “I fell in love with Izuku Midoriya” and yet for some reason the idea that Toga’s love for Uraraka (and Deku mind you) could be one sided is just inconceivable?
@rand0m_arts@CrowReaping@myimsorry @utahimeful Just cause they fit your narrative (Toga “pushing” Ochako even though ghosts aren’t able to interact with things outside of the mindscape and any ghost we’ve seen comes from a vestige attached to a quirk and Toga never gave her quirk but her blood (2/2)
