Been getting back to running at least 5-6 days a week. It’s been averaging mid 90’s since I started running and the question on my face is what the heat does to you. 😂

When you can’t find your shaker you get creative. I actually prefer the tone. 😂 Rice inside of a gallon jug. Keeps it warm and out of the way. Very satisfied!

Sometimes mic’ing the sound hole of a shallow snare is magic. I was tracking a few folky acoustic songs that required a very vintage 70’s kind of fat smack versus modern day snare crack. This mic technique paired with brushes was perfect for the style.
