@TolentinoTeach Sound spelling….we have systematically taught kids to misspell words and hindered their writing even further.

@MrDanielBuck There are kids, now, whose anxieties are so crippling it affects their physical health. It also affects their mental health, when they are in an “overwhelmed” state. Just having a case manager who can support the child, teacher and parent is valuable.

This is exactly what schools are dealing with. Maybe more police should take a stroll thru schools with body cams:/

@SteeleThoughts Just today..went to drop a student off. The teacher had her class lined up ready to go to lunch and a child started puking in the trash can. I took the puking child to the nurse and changed the trash bag, during my lunch/plan. Kids are unpredictable. Reality.

@fogfreefollower @NicholasFerroni Speaking from experience and upper admin doesn’t care.They are satisfying the public,who insist a research study be done to prove it’s “not mediocre.”
They are vetted/quality controlled by teachers with masters/doctorate degrees. However we are not trusted.

Imagine being given somewhere around 80 years on a planet floating through an incomprehensibly enormous universe, surrounded by billions of people you will never meet, mysteries you will never solve, places you will never see, and more knowledge than you could absorb in a thousand lifetimes...

and spending the whole damn thing worrying about money, arguing with strangers, impressing people you don't even like, and doing something you hate five days a week because somebody convinced you that was life.

I don't know, man.
