Big news! 🎉🎉 Last weekend myself and my dog Jessie qualified as the first ever scent-specific trailing search dog team with @sardaIreland after nearly 4 years of training. It’s an incredibly complex type of searching, and we’re very proud to be qualified to @NSARDAOrg standards
Just heard on the radio that 3.6 million bottles and cans are being recycled every day under the deposit return scheme.. there are 5.1 million people in Ireland.. I didn’t realise we used this many plastic bottles and cans!

@JayHulmePoet These might not be quite board games but, kingdomino was quick and easy. Also, might be more card/party games but happy salmon, taco cat goat cheese pizza, sabatouer (sp?), all nice easy and fun games!
I’m hoping I don’t eat my own words later, but it seems much easier to grade assignments on @Canvas_by_Inst than Blackboard. I can even do it on my phone with ease!

I opened an Arabic book (a colleague wrote a book that has been translated into several languages).. it hurt my brain trying to hold the book right way up before opening it. I knew Arabic is read from right to left, but I didn’t realise that they’re also read back cover to front
After playing football in this grass during my PhD as a way to unwind, I never thought I would be playing basketball here 6 years later, after finishing marking a whole load of project reports 🤷🏻♀️ great addition to the campus though!
