When I was home in Jun last yr, I met a community of deaf people who are my sister’s friends. I could not communicate with them so my sister translated the conversation. We had a good time after their church service, which I also thoroughly enjoyed.
They are my people too now.
She’s currently fundraising to give Kate, (the youngest of them in the photo) an education. To support us, kindly send your donations to:

My kid sis is trying to send a young, deaf girl ( in blue clothing) to school. It would be the first time the girl will be getting any formal education in her entire life. She needs some support. Please send some her way if you can afford to.
Update on Kate:
Regarding her education, some school materials were bought using funds that had previously been obtained. However, it's insufficient and we need more aid.

Fellow Africans, I present to you the author of that BBC fake news piece which states :
"Gun-wearing leader sparks concern at Ghana inauguration",
As brother MalcolmX correctly pointed out:
They will use one of our own, to betray us.
We need to be vigilant.

I’ve never seen a sitting government complain this much about election rigging before. You say you’ve been rigged, bring pink sheet too as, you say you don’t have.😂 how exactly are you planning to contest the results?
You see all those who are NOW admitting that things are hard? Those who swore that everything was alright and made folks think they are delusional?
Watch them well!
@awo_dufie Opportunities meant for queer people. The number of non-queer people claiming to be queer that I’ve met here for example… for asylum … cos things got bad back home.. in the last couple of months… pisses me off every time.
@awo_dufie I am not disputing this — choosing not to vote as a queer person is fine and a choice too. I respect that. What I am however saying is that if we actively chose the lesser of the two evils, perhaps, things won’t be so bad that heteros would be pretending to be queer to access can
@awo_dufie Neither will we under the NPP. As sad as this is, we are Ghanaians, and then queer. I believe this is why we keep saying #WeAreAllGhanaians. If none of these two parties respect my queerness, what about the other aspects of being Ghanaian? It does matter, no?
