Coosa, Elmore, Etowah, Montgomery, St. Clair, Talladega have just been cleared from the Tornado Watch. Counties in yellow remain in the Tornado Watch. Once the line of storms passes your location, the severe threat is over for the night.

Following the meeting, the community-college system also just announced tuition rates will not increase in the fall, when it anticipates normal, on-campus operations to resume.

An unbelievable amount of rain has flooded sections of McFarland Blvd. and stranded approximately 40 guests at the Best Western Hotel after flood waters inundated the first floor rooms.
