@DonnieN42@shteivred@FrancoPanizo FIFA has a VAR policy, it states that they cannot use photography or slow motion to initiate a review, and yet they did anyway.
@marcum_donnie@FrancoPanizo I guess Portugal should have lost their group games swing as Ronaldo was allowed probation also. But instead maybe get upset that VAR is breaking policies.
@Iztheman233@JacobsBen Qualification games count for the WC but don’t count for friendlies. It’s why he was able to play in friendlies. He also couldn’t serve his suspension in a friendly.
@FacelessFather_@gavinmchughh There is a clause that allows fifa to suspend any punishment, been used by Ronaldo before. Improper use of VAR is what triggered this, and that was the US’s case all along, no one denied it was a foul, just that VAR couldn’t use photography or slow motion to initiate the reviews
@Alittledrewish@ok_Boomer420_69@usmntonly You’re the idiot that doesn’t seem to grasp that VAR policy doesn’t allow slow motion or still a to ge used to determine this call, and yet it was used.
@MansaSeyi Love that you brought up stills, you know who’s NOT supposed to officiate with stills and slow motion on fouls…VAR, you know who used both in the US game…VAR
@TheMoriartyShow@ianmSC@phl43 Wrong the ref whistled normal foul, awarded free kick, no card. Then VAR buzzed in against their own policy and used slow motion and stills to reofficiate the foul which they are not supposed to do, only at game speed.
@phl43@ianmSC You seriously can’t miss the point this much…VAR made the decision against their own policy to not reofficiate fouls in slow motion, FIFA literally stated var is not supposed to do this. So by deciding to buzz in based off of slow motion and stills the rec broke var rules
@phl43@thekleschprince Apparently the 12 year premier league referee last night utterly disagrees with your generalization, especially since it went against VAR policy to look at stills and slow motion.
@Nick___Collins No you seem to not grasp, most Americans follow 3+ sports, thus learn rules of them. So it becomes easier an easier to notice when rules are not being applied consistently by officials. VAR is getting used for shit it wasn’t meant for, and then it’s only being selectively used.
