for everyone working to reindustrialize, watch this, burn it into your mind. absolutely no one is above this reality, no one will outsmart or outlast it. if the urgency isn't visceral yet, move faster. we are awake now, do not slow down.
SECRETARY RUBIO: There was this fantasy, really, that the whole world would become a free enterprise democracy, and that everyone would look like us. That ran into reality.
i have been steadily banging the drum on domestic transformer production since 2023, and now, we have resolute grid. the last time an american company fully designed and built these was in the late 80s. so excited to see this come roaring back. incredible work!
The @deptofwar’s Office of Strategic Capital (OSC) announced today a $150 million conditional loan commitment with @stoke_space, a U.S.-based space launch company developing fully reusable rockets, to provide low-cost, high-cadence access to orbit. The proposed loan from OSC, alongside private capital, would support the buildout of the company’s second launchpad at its existing launch complex at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The OSC commitment to Stoke Space more broadly supports the expansion of U.S. launch capacity, which is required to meet the rising demand for commercial and national security space launch by the United States Space Force. Space launch is a designated critical technology category that is vital to national security and economic resilience.

PCBs made in America. Twice as fast as Shenzhen.
Today @CircuitHub is unveiling The Grid, our factory-scale robot in Massachusetts that builds circuit boards on demand.
No changeovers, no per-design setup. Prototypes and production batches, fully automated.
Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
flip-top caps are such a flex. the lid, hinge and base can all be one piece of polypropylene. thick sections stay rigid; a thin strip bends thousands of times.
the difference between a structure and a mechanism is sometimes just where u put the plastic
I learned last week that VCs don't seem to fly out to see the hardware companies they're investing in. This struck me as totally insane. While I was in India, my walk through @Airbound_Aero revealed much of what I wanted to know.
Have been through so many factories that I can usually tell in about five minutes what's real and what's hoping to be real and what's total garbage. Airbound had lots of the touches of an early @RocketLab - organization, attention to detail, etc.
I get that investors are looking at the founder and the business and their models. But feels like you could save a lot of heartache by bothering to get on a plane.
Today Boom unveils our first completed supersonic turbine core, a 2GW Superfactory, and—one more thing—the world's most advanced all-digital foundry to cast single crystal turbine blades and vanes https://t.co/q2KpL3dZi2
America doesn't need to rebuild the factories of the 1950s. It needs to invent the factories of the future.

Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.
Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.
Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.
1/ Today we’re unveiling Bombadil, @electricplantco's foundation model that reads the electrical signals of living plants and turns them into a continuous view of their physiology.
Trained on 7M+ hours of plant electrical signal across 125+ species. That makes Bombadil the most species-diverse model of directly recorded electrical biosignals in existence. The animal equivalent would be one model that reads the brainwaves of blue whales, horseshoe crabs and fruit flies.
Helicon is building factories to industrialize composites.
We raised a $16.5M seed round led by @alley_corp (@abemurray /@JonesBrannon) with participation from @joshbuckley, @chalfs, @gokulr and other top investors.
We’re ramping production at our factory in Los Angeles to deliver against millions of unmanned systems that need to be built domestically.
