@DPJHodges vision, its the increasing desire of centre-right voters to counter it/vote against it that may play into Reform's hands, as they are the only realistic route to blocking Labour.
@DPJHodges has changed but she is now of the opinion Labour need to be kicked out by any means necessary and Reform are in a far stronger position to do that. This is a huge change and the key thing is that if Burnham takes the labour party leftwards towards this "1970s" /anti-Thatcher
@Kush__Patil Growth is being deliberately held back via policy due to inflationary pressures supply side. Inflation control trumps growth every time. Govt i think not being honest with public about anti growth policies because we are in hybrid war with Russia/Iran supported by China/N Korea
@Kush__Patil Not fucked, but can can only be kicked so far down the road before major changes need to be made by government. Problem is we have a labour govt and the necessary changes to reduce the state, reduce public spending drastically (which will reduce inflation, deficit and debt) are
@51TJK The Canada/EU discussions are geopolitical noise. Canada cannot join the single market or customs union even as a quasi-member without putting up barriers with the US that would destroy its economy.
@51TJK You are implying the UK doesn't have a "good partnership" with the EU. Ignoring any political sabre-rattling in public, it does. The EU described the economic and trade agreement with the UK as unprecedented and unique, reflecting the close ties between the UK, EU and members
@bluecollartory_@DPJHodges@Chasetherabbit@KemiBadenoch@Conservatives Reform can't take its supporters forgranted? Is there any evidence of them doing this? Reform haven't had the chance at a national level. The tories gave us 14 years of broken promises, infighting, self-indulgence and partying during Covid while laughing at us. I have nothing
@DavidY5150@leigh_christian@afneil Electrical issues are just modern cars in general to be honest. I have the fortune of a company car scheme and i've had BMWs, VW group, MG (saic) and Volvo (Geely) plagued with electrical faults, aircon malfunctions, failure to read smart key (so won't turn on) etc.
@JerseySpur5 Don't want this to descend into toxic debate about vuskovic:
- Vuskovic is raw and will make mistakes
- He is incredibly talented
- He isn't ready to start for THFC and would get same treatment from our fans as Tel/Gray etc get when he makes a mistake
- He didn't want a loan
