Today we heard about the World Happiness Report from our guest speakers Lara Aknin and John Helliwell. Our discussion centered around how we traditionally try to measure happiness and how in recent years people have begun to reevaluate how they do so.

With both of our speakers we got a chance to hear about the emotional aspect of sustainable development work and how human connectivity is the basis of productive change.
Today we had a fun and very interesting discussion with Dr. Jacquelin Klopp, the Co-Director for the Center for Sustainable Urban Development at the Earth Institute, Columbia University. We spoke at length and with great passion about the problems that face urban development.
