the billion dollar startup country
The country with the most unicorns per capita is not the US, it’s not the UK… it’s my home country.

@JeroldBlock@adam_louis52328 “Someone else’s homeland or a good hunk of it … it’s all about definitions Mr Progressive Avenger, isn’t it. You’d just accept your own slaughter over life. Pathetic. The world isn’t theoretical. It has real world conflict and conflict resolution. Called making peace…
Former hostage Agam Berger played “Hatikvah” in Berlin.
Jews gathered to sing Hatikvah after the Nazis' Bergen-Belsen camp was liberated in 1945. Today, Agam played it after surviving 482 days in Hamas captivity.
Our hope is not yet lost. This is the sound of Jewish resilience.
🚨 Jews make up just 0.2% of humanity.
And half of us live in a country smaller than Maricopa County, Arizona.
So when mobs scream to “wipe it off the map” or “from the river to the sea” that’s not politics. That’s a call for extinction.
Remember that.

In the open Mediterranean, over 100 sails unfurled like white wings, just wind and will. Israeli families, hostages' loved ones stood on the central boat while the fleet circled them slow, blue-and-white flags snapping overhead-the sea's blue, the river's blue, the Magen David glowing between.
This wasn't protest; it was reverence-for pain carried, for resilience rising, for a people sailing straight into infinity. Every wave that lifted us lifted our hope.
Love loud as thunder!
Update re: Vueling Matter-
Joint Statement from @NJACLaw, @Association_OJE, and @ACOM_es:
The signatory organizations express our deep concern regarding the events that occurred on July 23, 2025, at Valencia airport, where 44 French minors were expelled from an airplane by the pilot after being identified as Jewish, and their young supervisor was subdued and detained by police in a violent and absolutely disproportionate manner. The initial evidence and testimonies collected from direct witnesses indicate that this could be an act of antisemitic discrimination against children and young minors, which is why we are gathering and analyzing all evidence to take action through all available legal channels, in order to defend the civil rights and protection of these minors and to ensure that this serious incident does not go unpunished.
Based on a preliminary evaluation of testimonies that we consider credible and which we continue to verify, the events unfolded as follows: On July 23, 2025, a group of 44 French Jewish minors between 13 and 17 years old, belonging to Camp Kineret, were removed from Vueling flight VY8166 bound for Paris-Orly.
The facts are corroborated by multiple testimonies, including from passengers who had nothing to do with the group, and describe a disproportionate, unjustified, and exceptional action: 44 minors were removed from the aircraft without any valid explanation by order of the captain. These children, supervised by eight young adults, had just finished a camp and were seated in their seats, respecting the rules and staff. No incidents, threats, or inappropriate behavior were reported. On the contrary, several independent passengers on the plane wrote statements confirming that the children posed no threat to public order or flight safety.
The arbitrary and excessive response of the crew was followed by violent intervention by the Civil Guard, which culminated in the most abusive arrest of the group's director, 21 years old, before the traumatized eyes of the minors. The adolescents were detained for hours, irregularly forced to delete the videos they had recorded of the incident, and finally abandoned by the airline without an alternative flight.
The minors returned to their homes the next day after receiving support for their relocation from Jewish groups and communities, shocked after witnessing these acts of violence and institutional abuse. Further aggravating the situation, instead of opening an impartial investigation, Vueling issued a defamatory statement that, without mentioning any intention to clarify the facts, slandered these minors by accusing them of "conflictive behavior" and "violent attitude." This irresponsible response has fueled a campaign of defamation on social media against Jewish minors, with unfounded accusations including alleged chants against Palestinians and manipulation of security equipment. All these assertions about behavior attributed to each and every member of the group, issued without any proof, would constitute defamation that would carry serious consequences.
It is particularly serious that an airline known for transporting vacation passengers, some highly conflictive and with aggressive or uncontrolled behavior without any consequence, would target minors so meanly and that its pilot would decide to adopt such extraordinary measures without consequences.
All of this has provoked a wave of international indignation that once again questions the bias and hatred against Jews executed by individuals, institutions, and authorities in Spain in the face of inaction, if not connivance, of the government, which has not expressed any type of concern nor opened any investigation of the incident.
Given the seriousness of these events involving French minors on Spanish territory, perpetrated by a company based in Spain and Spanish security forces against Jewish minors, we announce that our organizations will initiate in a coordinated manner the most forceful legal actions available both nationally and internationally, which may affect the aircraft commander and his crew, the airline and its parent company (IAG which, with Qatari shareholding, also owns British Airways and Iberia), the police officers who acted with excessive force, their commanders, airport and transport authorities in Spain, and all those who share responsibility in this most regrettable act of abuse against Jewish children.

(Please help me spread this. @Columbia tried to smear my name. I wouldn’t let them. Today, they finally admitted that I hadn’t done anything wrong.)
I support @shaunmmaguire
Any attempt to cancel him is absurd. His willingness to call out extremism is appreciated.
He stated 2 things:
- Zohran Mamdani refused to refute “globalize the intifada”
- His father has publicly called for violence to incite change in policies & this is radical and un American.
Both of these things are provably true.
He voices strong opinions forcefully. You won’t always agree but he’s data oriented, high integrity & certainly not a racist.
Cancel culture needs to be cancelled.
@TheLeventine @HilzFuld Hmm. You clearly aren’t aware that the standard of living and life expectancy is better and longer in Israel than any of Israel’s neighbors?? You are a fool.
BREAKING NEWS: Columbia has spoken. Read Interim President Katrina Armstrong’s statement on Columbia’s commitments below.
The key now is seeing these put into action effectively.
