Gary O’Neil gets my vote. Premier League experience was always top of my list, and he ticks that box. Give him the backing he’ll get here and it feels like a really good fit. #itfc
🚨 #itfc are working to appoint Strasbourg boss Gary O’Neil as their next manager.
43yo set to become Kieran McKenna’s replacement. Understand terms are close to being agreed, with formal approach to BlueCo not expected to be an issue.

'I've had to block out the noise'
Just spoken to Mark Ashton about where he's at with appointing #itfc's next manager.
Here's what he had to say 👇

I’m putting it into the universe now. Ipswich’s first fixture is Everton. I have spoken by closing my eyes and pressing pause on the fixture scroll. #itfc
The Premier League fixtures are released at 10am tomorrow. 📆
To be in with a chance of winning two hospitality tickets for one of our home pre-season fixtures, correctly predict the team we'll face home or away on the opening weekend of the 2026/27 campaign. 🔮
👀 Following reports that #itfc have made striker Karl Etta Eyong one of their top transfer targets, @JacobsBen reports that Ipswich have now opened talks with Levante to sign him.
Everton have enquired. La Liga side want £25-£30m.

Think ITV should just double down and label it 'Emma Hayes' Kitchen' and watch the meltdown as men demand she both get out but also get back in said kitchen. She's brilliant and the talent to be so concise in a manner of minutes is underrated.
ITV had him smashing things, shouting and screaming. As if that’s the only way to get a response from footballers. I think I’ll believe @JackPittBrooke on this one.
The first thing Thomas Tuchel did after walking into the England dressing room at half-time was to sit down. His team had just conceded with the last kick of the first half, a second sloppy, preventable goal, and he knew the players would be on edge. He knew that what they needed first was a quiet moment to catch their breath.
Then Tuchel explained to the team that his perception of them and their work would not change if England lost their opening game to Croatia. And if they lost here in Dallas, so what, they would still have two games left to put it right. The only thing that mattered was to play in their way, the way they had been working on ever since Tuchel took over.
Brave, courageous, aggressive and proactive. To show the world who they are and what they can be.
@JackPittBrooke on one of the more decisive half-time interventions in English World Cup history.

This feels different. Are they being told to embrace the England supporters more? Could be wrong, but sat here in the UK it definitely feels like there’s more of a connection.
🍿 Film Review: Masters of the Universe.
Very good. Great fun. Plenty for the old fans and plenty for the new. Don’t believe the flop stories. A thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours.
Solid 6.9/10.
@stulines He has one senior international cap to his name, picked up in a friendly against Senegal. That’s enough evidence for me to quietly claim I saw this coming all along.
