Today @bbclaurak did the following:
1) made an outrageous claim that intimidation lost Jonathan Ashworth his seat
2) mocked labour policy in a sarcastic sing song voice
3) got Nigel farage to comment on divisive politics
RT if you agree they need a new presenter.
In the election I’m voting to deal with the emergency and oppose the far right. I’m voting with the most vulnerable person that I know in mind. The millions in poverty, who can’t physically or mentally survive another five years of this are my number one concern. My priorities are in order.
FPTP is undemocratic so I’m promoting the loophole and encouraging everybody I know and can reach with my platforms else to do the same. Tactical voting is how we will destroy the bastards that have ruined our lives for 14 years.
I will vote for Labour. My vote for isn’t based on loving them as a party or because they represent me perfectly, no politician ever will, it’s practical. I know they’ll do a better job, because my cat in a fucking bow tie would do a better job.
They’re the route out. That’s what it’s about for me and it always been. It’s logical. Not ideological.
Never make political figures your idols. it makes them beyond reproach. We’ve seen firsthand the horrors that populism brings. Send Farage into obscurity along with the Conservative Party, he’s how we ended up with BluKip. He’s a shit that won’t flush until we collectively reject his outdated fascistic irrelevant bullshit.
Vote against the National Front. Vote against upperclasshole conmen posing as patriots who destroy our lives so their hedgefunder donors can get even richer. Vote to take your country back from racists.
Then demand voter reform and press reform.
Vote tactically. Destroy them.

Jim Ratcliffe, "Brexit sort of unfortunately didn't umm.. It didn't turn out as people anticipated"
"It was about immigration.. People fed up with the influx.. A small island like the UK can't cope with vast numbers of people.. It overburdens the NHS, traffic, the police"
"The country is designed for 55 or 60 million people, now we've got 70 million and all the services break down"
Man who left the UK to be an immigrant in Monaco to avoid UK tax, is complaining about immigrants coming to the UK who are paying UK taxes 🤷♂️
By moving to Monaco Ratcliffe avoided £4 billion in tax.
So I put it to you, the reason services are underfunded is not because of immigrants who come to the UK and pay their fair share of tax. It's because of people like Ratcliffe who avoid paying their share of UK tax and so starve public services.
And Brexit turned out exactly how many predicted, and arguably it's worse than many predicted. Warnings were dismissed as project fear, and of course people like Ratcliffe won't be impacted by the extend of Brexit. When you're worth over £12 billion, a 50% increase in your food shopping bill isn't even noticable
Just had my reduced price flowers taken off me in @Tesco by staff because they were past their sell by date and had to be thrown away. I explained I wasn’t planning to eat them. What a shocking waste of time, money and common sense. I despair. 😩
Four years on from Brexit we celebrate the restoration of this country’s democratic power to make its own laws and rules. With those Brexit freedoms we have introduced improved standards for animal welfare, cut taxes on sanitary products, created greater flexibility for cutting edge industries from financial services to bioscience, done many global free trade deals - and it was at least partly thanks to Brexit that this country had the fastest covid vaccine rollout in Europe.
We must retain the appetite and the courage to diverge from the low-growth high-regulation European model. We must at all costs avoid a return to anything remotely like the disastrous “Chequers” formula whereby artificial concerns about the border between Northern Ireland and Ireland are used to keep the whole of the UK in alignment with EU rules.
We are recruiting!
Come and join the fantastic, fun & award winning @BBCFoodProg team. A great opportunity to work on a top @BBCSounds / @BBCRadio4 programme & examine life through the filter of food.
