@K4C @ashley88817465 @OttawaCitizen And do you realize how much it costs to keep a patient in an acute care bed in a hospital. It would be cheaper and more humane to send them back to their homes and supply more assistance and supplies to the LTC and retirement residences they came from.
@OttawaCitizen For our elderly parents who have had to leave their retirement residence home and go to hospital for care it is beyond cruel not to return them to their home and loved ones when they have recovered. Please don't heap loneliness and sadness on top of frailty and ill health.
During these difficult times, our most vulnerable #ottawa residents need our support.
Today I spoke with @harleyf & @OttawaFoodBank CEO @MichaelMaidment about how we can help.
Harley has agreed to donate $1—up to $10k— to @OttawaFoodBank for every RT this gets!
And Trump wants to put troops on our boarder to keep Canadians and "irregulars" from crossing. This young man would quite likely be alive today if he had access to free health care like all Canadians do. Very sad. @andrewkimmel
A 17-year-old boy in Los Angeles County, the first teen believed to have died from complications with covid-19 in the U.S., was denied treatment at an urgent care clinic because he didn’t have health insurance. https://t.co/lgKITuEMNZ
@TIME Just keep on doing what your doing with this inquiry. By the looks of things Trump will be having a full blown coronary on the White House lawn and it will be over with. 👍
When you think about why these horrific shooting tragedies keep happening - and why Texas has more mass shootings than any other state in the US - remember that this is Texas’s Governor. #txlege#ElPasoShooting
.@TabathaSouthey pens a Dr. Seuss-themed ode to MPP Sam Oosterhoff and his staff, whose instinct when met with senior citizens protesting library cuts was to call the police https://t.co/kR87EOTiPB
@jamespmcleod And guess what, it worked. How about that? That child was found as a direct result of that amber alert. Who cares how many go out, where they are sent from, in what language they come. It is a buzz on your phone, carry on with your very busy important life.
@ThePatriot017 @SmokinTailwind @MJTPhotos @mogadissues@IlhanMN Actually, you can go to any number of walk in clinics and see a primary care physician in about 2 hours, kinda like an emerg dept, but less wait. Show your little plastic card. Free. Get an x-ray. Free. Get referrals to specialists. Free too.
