@CoreAiX@TheCinesthetic Gillian Flynn wrote the best-selling novel, which she then adapted in this screenplay. She deserves far more credit than Fincher.
@PeteAscolese I don't just like it; it's the funniest bit I've ever seen on an awards show, and her commitment to it is pretty astonishing, in my opinion.
@DerekAl01150767@CliffordPart2@Uugher7@LangmanVince According to scripture, ANYONE who looked at it would be killed, so this apparently “VERY F*CKING CLEAR” (but nonsensical) idea that the Ark somehow cared that the Nazis on the island were evil is not even suggested.
@HiRezTheRapper Clearly, the majority of the general public has never kept a secret that they think will destroy their lives if it ever got out. It's crippling, and the very simple idea that Will is weak because of it shouldn't be this hard for people to comprehend.
@miwiseven People not understanding that the specific reason Will is "weak" is because he's been keeping that secret is mind-boggling to me. He had to let that go in order to become powerful for the finale, so, yeah, it's part of the plot. I swear people are getting dumber every day.
