We said goodbye to three beloved Home Alone stars in 2026, but their memories will live on forever 🕊️🎄
As Macaulay Culkin celebrates his 46th birthday, the actor who made Kevin McCallister unforgettable is marking the occasion during a heartbreaking year for the Home Alone family.
In 2026 alone, we lost three beloved faces connected to Kevin’s story:
Catherine O’Hara, 71 — Kate McCallister, Kevin’s unforgettable mom
Brenda Fricker, 81 — the Pigeon Lady who became Kevin’s unlikely friend in Home Alone 2
Tim Curry, 80 — Mr. Hector, the suspicious Plaza Hotel concierge who tried desperately to figure Kevin out.
Three completely different characters, but all part of scenes millions still revisit every Christmas.
That’s the strange beauty of movies like Home Alone: time keeps moving, actors grow older, and some sadly leave us...
But every December, Kevin walks into that house and hotel again, and they’re all still there with him. ❄️❤️
My 9 year old was fine on Thursday - laughing, running, joking.
Then he wasn't.
He got sick on Friday - just another virus we thought.
Saturday he woke up talking complete gibberish to us - "get to the ER" we thought.
11 hours in the ER, and he was getting worse:
- Delirium
- Hallucinations
- Then seizures
Sunday - 30 electrodes strapped to his skull. Neuro surgery was consulted.
We came very close to intubating him and having a drain put into his skull.
Thankfully it didn't come to that.
Graham got viral encephalitis - an infection from a common virus that went to his brain and put pressure on his neurons.
He's turned a major corner, and its now day 12 of being in the hospital away from his brothers, friends and dog, Koda.
He is better, and will continue to get better, but slowly.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to help and offer prayers.
Thank you for understanding my absence and quiet from your lives.
Here is a page I put up so anyone can follow along as he recovers: https://t.co/pdn4ciSAG7
Hug your kids, and of course, Light that fire!
Mike
Dear friends on X:
I could use some prayers right now. I’m at the ER with burning stomach pains that have been getting worse. I can’t afford to be sick right now. Super Bubba, my cancer warrior, and my other kids need me.
I’m so overwhelmed by all of this happening at once. It’s like I can’t even make this stuff up.
Please pray for us 🙏💛🎗️

This morning, Yolanda is coming home. 🙏
After everything she has endured, we have converted a room in our home into her own private spa/ICU-style room, where she can be surrounded by family, love, and the care she needs.
The high-dose Vitamin C IVs have been a Godsend for us: 122 grams per session (1.5 g/kg), three times each week. Unfortunately, like much of our off-label protocol, they aren’t covered and cost us about $900 every week out of pocket, on top of the enormous expense of caring for her at home.
To everyone who has prayed, donated, written, called, and simply kept Yolanda in your heart: thank you. You have helped carry us through some of the darkest days of our lives.
Please continue praying for Yolanda. And if you are able to help us financially—even a small amount—it truly matters.

Today, though, I am grateful for something very simple:
My reason for reasons, my beautiful wife is coming home! ❤️ 🙏
Please share.
