I think I speak on behalf of all Arsenal fans with any football knowledge when I say that Bruno Guimarães would be a dreadful signing. He’s an extremely limited footballer who should be nowhere near our club, especially for the fee and wages being mentioned. 👎✖️🇧🇷
EXCLUSIVE 🚨: Newcastle United are set to activate their £45m buy back clause for Leeds United star Sean Longstaff, Longstaff is seen as the long term replacement for Bruno Guimarães.
Does anyone blame Bruno for wanting away?
Been fucked around for years and had this club on his back when the incompetent people we’ve had in the background/ on the touchline have been clowning about.
Personally wish him the best wherever he goes. 👍
Can’t quite understand the outrage from some Newcastle fans directed AT Bruno?! Are you lot okay?
#NUFC are in a rebuild phase, he’s far too good to not be playing CL, will earn more cash, has literally bled for this club for +5 years and is turning 29!
The mark of a genuinely big club isn't that it clings to its icons, it's that it survives them. Shearer left. The badge remained. Bruno himself said he wants to leave one day with the fans singing his name like they sing Al's. The most loving thing we can do for that legacy is build a side strong enough that, when the day comes, we wave him off with full hearts and a squad still capable of winning, rather than a smoking crater where our best player used to be.

Once a player asks to leave it’s usually a one way street and we know where it ends.
Pointless keeping anyone who doesn’t want to be here but it would be a bit of a piss take having to replace tonali, Gordon & Bruno in a matter of weeks.
🚨 EXCL: Bruno Guimaraes informs Newcastle United of wish to leave & join Arsenal. #AFC stepping up pursuit - ready to offer deal worth up to £60m at present but no club-to-club contact yet + #NUFC stance still not entertaining bids for 28yo @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/6W3cpcqKKh
🏴 Losing Gordon? Fine. Good fee, we can rebuild.
🇮🇹 Losing Tonali? Fine. Great fee, we can rebuild.
🇧🇷 Losing Bruno? Not fine. I’m not sure how we’d recover for the coming season.
The heartbeat of the team. Our best player, leader & a huge part of this project.

🇳🇱 Sean Steur: the next Ajax prodigy 🤔
Amidst all the transfer talks surrounding Steur, I thought it was only right to look at the player and the profile of the Ajax academy graduate.
Steur, the 18-year-old prodigy, has been doing a stellar job, pushing into Ajax’s starting XI after their very poor start to the season. He saw himself integrated into the first team around December time after John Heitinga’s managerial campaign came to a close after one of the worst starts to a season in the club’s history.
Since Steur’s integration to the first team, he’s managed to make 25 appearances, and 3 of those in the Champions League against Olympiacos, Villarreal, and he managed an assist against Qarabag, which we all know what it’s like to play them after sending them home 9-3 on aggregate! 🏆
Steur is a central midfielder but can play a holding role, as he has done for parts of the season. His main attributes are his passing, being able to progress the ball into the attacking third and help break down the lines and springing the ball into the wingers, launching the attack.
The way he does it slightly reminds me of Bruno or Elliot Anderson. He will pick up the ball deep, run into space, and progress the play to put us on the front foot. He’s also confident on the ball, able to play in the gaps and tight spaces to allow others the freedom. He’s also an ideal player for Howe, stature-wise, being 6ft tall. However, to note, he can seem a bit weak, but after spending a week in the gym with Joe 💪 , that will change in no time, I’m sure!!!! 😂
He’s however 18 years old and will need, given the time, to progress his career and he will need to be pushed to excel and improve on his qualities and build up the weaknesses. This might be an issue as Howe, as we all know, loves to integrate young talent into the squad - think Osula, Hall, TIno, Anderson etc
I do, however, think for a fee of just under €25m he’s definitely a punt worth taking and could become a serious player if we look after him right, like Ewen Jaouen. As well as this, he has a massive potential and with that brings a potential for a huge profit if an outfit like Barcelona or Real Madrid come calling which is always a thought in the current financial landscape of football.
All in all, I think he’d be a great pickup and the scouting network at the club seems to be doing well looking through the talent pool and were following through doing what we set out to, which was buy younger and turn them into greats.
He’s played through the Ajax academy and progressed through the national team ranks and he’s definitely one to look out for in the future and for the price, definitely worth the hit. So let’s see if this is all a hoax or can we get this deal over the line as many journalists believe we now will!
Who's next! Exciting times!
