Someone made a suggestion that we should westernize Hausa society and culture to softly fight extremism in the north and I think some company took that tweet seriously.
Two Senior Advocates of Nigeria under investigation in just one year, one stripped and one suspended. But it’s we young lawyers that have problems right?
Seems Amoda wants me to start eating buttered and roasted corn. This is good!!!

I love so deeply. I’m like a big teddy bear to the person I love. I will be gist partner (this one you will even tire), I will be provider, I will be financial adviser, travel companion (plan the trip to any country and use my card to pay) and enjoyment buddy. I will even take a bullet for you if you are getting shot.
This is me in one person.
However, Non-negotiable is respect. Absolute respect. That’s all I demand in return and I know I speak for all men too.
So I don’t get all that disrespectful things couples put out in the name of content. I don’t understand.
The fact that they say heaven is made of gold shows you that it’s man made. Even here on earth it’s humans who decided that gold is valuable and it also means someone who has lived in a house made of gold here on earth would not be impressed by heaven

I’d argue that our poverty is why classism exists. Everyone knows we’re poor, so people spend too much time trying to prove they aren’t as poor as the next person.
My late aunt was pressuring me to buy land in Lekki Phase 1 in 2002 for 500k. My Schlumberger friends also bought land on Alpha Beach Road that same year for about 100k Naira per plot. My aunt died protecting her land. My friends lost all their plots. Lagos real estate isn't for those who lack the energy to fight.
I am just grateful that I never made any of those decisions, as they would have kept dragging me back. Someone from Boston was traveling to Nigeria and asking if we could meet in Lagos. I told him that he travels to Nigeria more frequently than I do. I have been there only twice since the pandemic started.
My only Nigerian real estate regret was not buying fully built houses at State Housing in Calabar in 1999 for 100k each. My guy bought 10 of them, and he never has to work again.
