3⃣ Music that gets stale
A lot of us fall into the trap of keeping music as an after-thought
Instead, use it purposefully
To keep the video engaging, swap the song playing every 30-120s, depending on video pace, and especially when changing scenes/reaching a checkpoint
This synchronizes especially well with point #2
2⃣ No checkpoints/unstructured video
Pretty much everything that keeps us engaged has natural checkpoints.
Books have chapters, shows have episodes/seasons, and your video should have checkpoints as well
Whenever you switch to a different topic, implement a checkpoint animation
The goal is to give the viewer a natural sense of accomplishment and keep them interested in what's coming next
