@exitthelemming So sorry, Sam. This sucks. Thinking of you and the family. x

[Chris Smith @editorking]

@exitthelemming Sam, I am sorry to hear this, and my sincere condolences to all the family. Your dad was a true delight to work with, and I’m so glad I got to bask in his warmth, wisdom, and grace, even if only for a short while. A legend passes…

@jessrickson Jess, I still can’t believe that we’ve lost #SteveWright. It seemed like we’d have him forever. His last message to me was signed “Steve, Top Author” & he was that & more. Those two Factoids books were a brilliant joint effort and they (& him) will live on.

@RestIsPolitics @RoryStewartUK @campbellclaret If @BorisJohnson is the logical outcome of the present Parliamentary process, do we need a new process (perhaps even a change to the first-the-post party system) to ensure that the good of the country is put first.

We all know @andyserkis as Gollum, but here he is bringing to life some of your favourite characters from The Hobbit… 🎧

Return to Middle-earth with The Fall of Gondolin!
In the words of J.R.R. Tolkien, it was ‘the first real story of this imaginary world’ & he regarded it as one of the three 'Great Tales' of the Elder Days. 🧝‍♂️
