Good to see an actor in @Dir_Lokesh whose screen presence was apt for the role. @iWamiqaGabbi @isanjkayy and the rest delivered really well. Finally- an absolutely mindblowing “Anirudhrathaandavam”. Aug 14–16 is shaping up as a full-blown free-for-all in Tamil Nadu theatres.

#Suriya’s #ViswanathAndSons is the biggest release of the week. #Vishal’s #Magudam (backed by Tirupur Subramaniam) is also locking in on the same day — setting up a fierce screen war.

Meanwhile, Sun Pictures’ #DC, which exploded on Aug 7, is still on fire and pushing hard for more screens in week two. Every player is fighting for maximum screens, maximum shows, and the best possible terms.

National multiplexes have another headache: they need to find slots for Sunny Deol’s patriotic #Batwara1947 and Emraan Hashmi’s #Awarapan2 this Friday, while #SpiderManBrandNewDay continues to hold some screens in its third week.
